I provide Business Coaching and Mentoring to business owners on a one-to-one basis helping them to maximize the performance of their business, and achieve their goals and ambitions both from a personal and business perspective. Some business owners view me as a sounding board, someone who can take an uninhibited look at their business, and themselves. It can be a lonely place running a business, with no-one to bounce ideas off or confide in. Having a Business Coach and Mentor provides you with an unparalleled opportunity to seek advice and guidance from an experienced businessman who can empathise with you and has a burning desire to see you succeed. As a Business Coach, I am measured on results, therefore your success is also mine.
So how does Business Coaching work?
I generally work with owners of SMEs within the West Midlands. Most of my client relationships begin with a 3-6 month coaching and mentoring programme, with many progressing into longer term relationships. During the initial 3-6 month period I will meet with you, usually once a week, face to face for approximately 1-2 hours.
I come to you with a blank sheet of paper and not a prescribed solution. We discuss your issues and objectives, both from a business and personal perspective, and from there agree an agenda, a plan of action. And please, have no fear, it is always your agenda, not mine.
During the initial 3-6 month period we will work in different areas of the business depending on the priorities and opportunities to make the most impact. This could be for example; growing your customer base, diversifying your product range, energizing your staff, improving cash flow, and defining a long term strategy for the business.
What else can you expect?
I am suitably experienced to work in all areas of your business i.e. finance, sales, production etc. but I also have collaborative relationships with several local companies who have specialised skills and knowledge. From time to time, and when applicable, I may introduce one or more of these companies to you. This could be in areas such as logo, website and brochure design, raising finance, invoice discounting, tele-marketing.
I closely monitor and keep up to date with grant funding opportunities and have successfully assisted my clients to raise hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of Regional Growth (RGF) & European Regional Development (ERDF) funding for a range of projects including the purchase of new CNC machinery, refurbishment of business premises, training and improvement of manufacturing processes.
